Key Duties
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current legislation and documented at all times.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced and hardworking Health & Safety Consultant based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will come from a technical occupational hygiene/water hygiene/asbestos background, will hold the NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification and will be experienced in carrying out risk assessment duties. Must come from a strong technical/consultancy/management/auditing asbestos/legionella background.

Field teams are to walk the routes of these pipes in their entirety except where it is unsafe to do so. Strategic asset checks are to be undertaken along the entirety of these pipes and the attached file contains all assets held on GIS for these mains. These checks are to be undertaken on all assets located along the mains, but especially focussing on the following:
· Line Valves â visual checks, valve exercising
