We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager in the Birmingham Area. Candidates must have the relevant knowledge, experience and a good understanding of Brickworks including structures, rail construction, with some submerged elements and working in and around live services.
You must have:
* SMSTS or SSSTS qualification, up to date CSCS.
* It is critical that you have significant experience as a Brickwork Site Manager.
* Experience managing workforce and willing to lead a section of up to 10 operatives and plant; managing a weekly programme.
* Strong HSE knowledge is essential - to ensure that the correct health and safety procedures are followed and enforced, including the involvement in Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Maintaining daily records of site activities. Liaising with Line Manager to produce information for progress reports, and all other associated tasks including giving good site briefings and carrying out site inspections.
As this will involve the day to day running of the site – We are looking for someone who is hands on with site duties and getting involved
