Salary: From £25,000 to £27,000 subject to experience level
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber for a full time permanent position on a large site based in the Swindon area.
This position will include dealing with the planned and reactive maintenance on site as well as some installation when needed.
The site will consist of Offices, Manufacturing area, Distribution area as well as a couple of other buildings.
The right person for this position will already have a strong working background as a commercial plumber dealing with drainage, pipe work sanitation, assisting with the heating etc
Even though this is a static site we would require this engineer to hold a full UK driving licence due to the size of the site and the transportation of equipment
Requirements
Strong working background as a commercial plumber
Level 2 in plumbing
Happy to work full time on a large static site
Full UK Driving licence is essential
Based in a commutable location to Swindon
Package
Basic salary based on a 40 hour week
Use of a company van on site
Pension

My client is a long-established (since 2000) Mechanical and Electrical contractor serving the whole of the UK. Services include maintaining central heating, electrical, air conditioning, catering, and refrigeration systems with a team of over 100 qualified, uniformed, and vetted (DBS) engineers around the country.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Inspecting and maintaining gas appliances, central heating plant and plant room equipment Attending, including out of hours, reactive, diagnostic, and emergency repair calls including liaison with colleagues and suppliers to obtain information on parts, costs and lead times
* Installing and carrying out site works associated with the installation of gas appliances, central heating plant and plant room equipment
* Reactive attendance to emergency callouts on 1 in 4 callout rotas
* Where appropriate to do so, providing our site-based client teams with guidance on the operation and management of their assets and advising them when their plant needs to be replaced or upgraded rather than repaired
Package:
* Location: Portsmouth, Southampton – Hampshire area – may go further when required
* Salary: £45k – Depending on experience
* Paid Travel Time – After 30 mins each way at 1.5x rate
* Call out: 1 in 4 | £50 First hour | £38 after
* Private Healthcare
* Death in service and critical illness
* Pension after 3-month probation
* Hours of Work: 8 hour days – flexible on hours 9-6 or 8-5 or 7-4 e.g.
* Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
* Overtime: Plenty of overtime available paid at time and a half after hours and Saturday and double Sunday.
* Vehicle: you will be provided with a company van, which can be used for personal use
* Expenses: Fuel card issued.
* Uniform: Will be provided by the client

* Current ACS qualifications / Commercial Gas Safe registered plumber
* Commercial Gas qualifications/Domestic Gas qualifications/Industrial Gas qualifications
