You must be of hold a full driving licence for at least 1 year as the role entails travelling nationwide and some working away from home.

Building Surveyor required on a fixed term basis by a large Housing Association based in Belfast Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, Choice Housing Association, to recruit a Building Surveyor on a fixed term basis to cover a period of maternity leave. Your new role You will assist the Head of Planned Maintenance in providing a range of in-house Building Surveying Services which will include: Liaising with Development and Housing Management staff on handover inspections and appraisals of drawings and new developments. Preparing written reports as necessary, including risk assessments, audits and surveys, making recommendations and innovative solutions. Carrying out regular and ad-hoc inspections of the Association's property. Producing outline and detailed design CAD drawings for feasibility studies, options appraisals, presentations, statutory approvals and tenders. Administering NEC construction projects from inception through to completion. Administering projects and managing contractors under a Measured Term Contract.
