Salary: £125,000-£135,000 pa DOE
My client is one the UK’s leading multi-discipline building, engineering and M&E specialists.
They work on a mix of commercial offices and hotels, education, health, residential and bespoke projects ranging from £2 million to £50 million.
They are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong Mechanical and Electrical background to join their well established and growing team.
Must have previous experience as an Operations Manager within a M&E company and have Tier 1 Contractor Experience.
Duties:
Ensure a safe working environment for all staff within Head Office
Work with Directors & Supervisors to establish and implement mobilisation plan for all new projects
Assist the Supervisors with the development of project programmes
Ensure the correct resources are available to allow teams to deliver their projects on time, to specification and budget
Monitor labour, subcontractors, plant and materials
Manage and motivate Contracts Managers, Supervisors, Foreman, site staff and subcontractors
Ensure customer promises are delivered and relationships are developed
Promote the values of the company at all opportunities

Keplar Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a market leading M&E contractor based in London. This specialist contractor is an established name in the market with a strong order book.
Mechanical Project Manager will be working for a company who have an annual turnover in excess of £120M and projects in value from £1-25 M. My client are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager who is able to oversee a mechanical package based on site in Central London. This role requires someone to previously have worked for an M&E Contractor as a Mechanical Project Manager on commercial fit out projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Full control of supervisors, foreman and labour contractors.
Agreeing project objectives
Carrying out risk assessments and method statements
Making sure that all the aims of the project and programmes are met
Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing
Better buying of all packages
Attending progress and programme meetings
Liaising with the client as required
Qualifications and training required:
Commercial Fit out experience is essential

As a working Site Supervisor, you will have a strong trade background (site foreman or site manager), experience with the tools and methods, as well as good communication and organisational skills. You will have a proven record of managing site operations from initial marking-out through to completion, including the coordination of shopfitters and all others trades on site.
Essential Requirements to be successful in the role:
You will need to be able to demonstrate:
Implement fixtures and fitting in line with scope and sales floor drawings
Progress reporting plays a fundamental part in this position and is required daily
Ensure health & safety is always compliant
Direct, motivate and monitor the project delivery teams including subcontractors
Identify and report on any shortages or damages from supplier deliveries
Produce scheme reports; including H&S audits, subcontractor KPIs and progress reports
Undertake surveys on existing equipment across the sales floor, back of house and colleague areas
Attend scheme pre-start and/or PC meetings as required
Good decision making is critical to the success of any project
Must hold a full UK drivers’ licence
Hold a current SMSTS qualification.
Experience of working with store fixtures or within the retail sector
IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
Have a high level of Health & Safety Awareness
Must be able to work away including weekends and evening
