I am currently recruiting for a BIM Manager/BIM technician/BIM Modeller to work in the Cambridgeshire area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BIM Manager/BIM technician/BIM Modeller to work for a leading Contractor within the Construction industry. The opportunity itself will involve working for a specialist company which provide a service in design, Construction and Project Management to their portfolio of clients within the Private and Public sector, these projects range up to £50M and the company themselves have an excellent reputation within the industry.
This opportunity would suit someone who is highly ambitious and knowledgeable within the Construction industry but also someone who has excellent knowledge of BIM. This role includes an excellent training scheme also with the opportunity to develop existing knowledge and progress within the company. The BIM Manager will be working closely alongside the design team
BIM Manager Position Overview
* Keeping up to date with knowledge of industry developments.
* Assisting the development and maintaining BIM documentations to ensure all is aligned with business policies.
* Support the design and delivery of BIM plans during the Pre-Construction phase through the life of projects.
* Implement training across the business to raise BIM awareness and competence
* Keep up to date with changes within the industry and latest technologies available in the market to ensure the BIM strategy is market leading.
BIM Manager Position Requirements
* Previous experience of working as a BIM Manager
* Experience of Revit/ArchiCAD would be highly advantageous
* Living in or close to the Cambridge
* Ideally a Main Contractor background

An experienced senior structural Revit modeller is required to join this medium sized firm of consulting engineers.
Permanent Salary ranging for £35 - £40k+/ Contract applications also considered.
Successful candidate will be required to lead the project BIM team under the direction of the BIM Manager, in accordance with any company and/or project specific standards and procedures. They work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects, both new build and refurbishments. The firm is located in Central London and this position is for a permanent position.
As the project Lead you will be responsible for managing project implementation (Technology, Policy, Process and People) and overseeing all BIM related activities relating to the project and will be expected to actively engage with the project team and collaborate with the discipline leads to ensure all models are accurately coordinated throughout the duration of the project.
They have a flexible and vibrant office environment in a very popular central London location. You will have the chance to work on different projects in different sectors at one time and will have internal progression.
The firm has a high workload and requires an individual who has live buildings structures project experience using Revit. Excellent communication skills are essential and you should be able to take on tasks with little guidance - you should be capable of taking on workload with open hands.
