Internal Sales Person - Construction Products Wick Near Bristol (BS30 Postcode) £22-24k Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5pm If you have estimating or sales experience ideally with building/ construction products and are looking to use your skills in an interesting and varied job then this could be ideal for you. The company manufacture concrete flooring products for the building and construction trade so the job would involve working with customers to provide quotations and estimates from a variety of drawings. This would suit a person who has a background or qualifications in the building or construction industry and is looking for an office-based role where they can use their skills. Responsibilities * Working with customers regarding any clarification of information i.e. Sizes and loadings. * Day to day preparation of quotations and take offs from customer enquiries * To effectively prepare quotations from foundation plans supplied by customers * Calculating the required quantities of products required for the contracts * Building of strong customer relationships and building of the brand. * Developing a thorough understanding of the Precast flooring industry and its application in the construction market. * Providing internal support to the Area Sales Manager. * Developing a good understanding of current construction techniques and how these practices may affect the estimating and design service. * Maintaining an effective and efficient filing discipline for quotations and customer information. * To effectively prepare quotations from foundation plans supplied by customers * Work with Technical Personnel to ensure that all quotations; correspondence comply with company and industry standards and specifications. * Work closely with the Transport Department to ensure that customer delivery requirements are achieved for the required delivery time slots. * Day to day preparation of quotations and take offs from customer enquiries. Skills and Experience * Good communication skills are essential as will be involved with customers via email and telephone. * Great interpersonal skills required to work within a small interactive team * Knowledge and experience of construction industry. * Experience of negotiation and account management. * Experience of working with targets and KPIs. * IT Knowledge including Microsoft Office to manage quotations. * Good communication skills are essential as will be involved with customers via email and telephone. * Able to do use Revit CAD system preferable, but not essential.
