Due to a significant award, they now have a requirement for a Site Engineer from a main construction contractor background to get involved in a recent £multi-million Design and Build award in the Elgin area

Key Function of the Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be required to accurately set out the works in accordance with the drawings and ensure they are constructed in accordance with the specification.
The Key Requirements:
* Set out the works using appropriate instruments to an acceptable level of accuracy having regard to the drawing, specification and site instructions;
* check the accuracy of the setting out at all stages of construction;
* provide measurement data to the Quantity Surveyor;
* maintain records of work done and provide sketches/information from drawings and specifications for the use by the Foremen and Operatives.
* understand and apply relevant information to make appropriate decisions which reflect key priorities and requirements;
* help others providing them with advice and feedback;
* manage own and others time to meet all project requirement and provide the safest possible working environment;
* monitor and audit the quality of own and others' work and
* understand the procedures, processes and legislation required.
The successful candidate will have:
* HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering (desirable);
* a valid CSCS card and have completed SMSTS
