Job Description
Working as Senior Quantity Surveyor for an established groundwork contractor you will be required to manage all financial aspects projects from inception to final account stage. The successful candidate will be required to carry out the responsibilities listed below.

Carrying out external valuations and cost reconciliation on allocated projects.
Negotiate with sub-contractors to ensure order values are as competitive as possible.
Manage sub-contractors measured works and variations.
Procurement of material orders and specialist plant.
Building new relationships with contractors to increase the profile of the company.

The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate the following qualities:

Strong quantity surveying experience in both Civil Engineering and Ground Works.
Commercial awareness, with an analytical and proactive approach towards problem solving.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to build strong relationships with our client base.
