Asbestos Surveyor - P402 - Portsmouth

Due to the acquisition of new prestigious contracts this UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, with a good presence in the Southern region is currently seeking a tenacious, committed, hardworking and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor based in and around Portsmouth area. Consideration will be given to applications from Basingstoke, Southampton, Oxford, Buckingham, High Wycombe and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & Experience: The applicant must have attained the P402 asbestos certificate or the RSPH qualification and at the same time must previous practical experience working within an asbestos surveying role. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and client-facing skills. Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Must be familiar with the Health & Safety procedures and regulations pertaining to asbestos. Tasks Will Include: Carrying out Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial. Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports as and when required. Liaising with clients from all levels on a regular basis, including high profile clients and dealing with issues appropriately and effectively. Prioritising workload and ensuring that work is completed within timeline. Attributes: Overall, the successful post-holder will be versatile, flexible, and have good work ethos and must have the aptitude to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
