Site Supervisor Required Location - Bayswater Area To start Mid to End of September. Rate / Salary - TBC Leading Externals / Facade Contractor are looking to appoint a Site Manager for a new project in the Bayswater area. Scope of works: * Curtain walling * Unitised glazing * Terracotta spandrels * Aluminium cladding * Granite cladding * Balustrades * GRC fins * Louvres * Bi-folding doors * Rooflights Experience/Qualifications: Essential – • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role • CSCS Gold Card – Site Supervisor • SSSTS certification Desirable - • SMSTS Must have previous experience working for a Facade contractor. Responsibilities: Due to the varying requirements of the supervisory role this is split to add clarity. It maybe on your project that you are asked to do one or all of the roles depending on size, complexity and stage of the project: General • Ensuring work areas are sufficiently ready for works to commence. • Well planned, tidy and organised site with adequate resourcing to deliver on time • Attendance at meetings when Site manager is not present. Quality • Quality Assurance, follow through and running the process with Client. • Responsible for trade to trade handovers. • Understanding and interpretation of the project specification and ensuring compliance • Reviewing and raising NCR’s with defective materials and installation works. • Adherence to the agreed ITP and QA plan, input to set up system will be required. • Technical ability to work alongside installation teams and design to solve issues that may arise. • Accompany and closeout 3rd party reports on snagging • Flexibility to be able to interpret specifications and carry out off-site inspections. Logistics • Ensure management of materials • Management of materials to ensure safe and timely installation works. • Material/access requests to office and booking in with Main Contractor. • Maintain suitable records of where all materials are – both onsite and off-site. • Hold installation subcontractors to account on usage of materials and where materials are, including maintenance of protection on installed works. • Raise Early warning for material requests • Checking off deliveries against site requirements both in terms of what’s required for the installation but also what has been requested to be delivered is on the delivery.
