Job Description

A regional contractor are looking to appoint a Sub-Agent to deliver a mixture of civil engineering, infrastructure and groundworks projects in the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire region. Projects typically include section 278 works, commercial groundworks, waste to energy schemes and public realm for local authorities, developers and major private clients. You will report to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for delivering individual schemes from contract award to completion, the projects will range in value between £250k - £5 million. Depending on the size of the project the site team will vary but traditionally you'll have support from a General Foreman and Engineer. Duties include: *Write risk assessment and method statements *Management of the commercial team with site change control and ensuring all cost, value and change control is captured in line with the contract. *Documentation control including Health and Safety files *Attend monthly progress meetings with clients and stakeholders *Liaising with clients to ensure work is completed to specification *Programming works using MS projects *Manage the direct labour force and specialist subcontractors Commitment, drive and outstanding performance will be rewarded with an excellent salary, package and opportunity to progress. About the Company/Client/Project: The role is to work with the regional Gloucestershire based civil engineering company with over 50 years' experience in the industry and increasing order book. They offer security, progression and regional work with interesting projects in a principal contracting and subcontractor environment. Requirements including certificates and qualifications: You will hold a minimum of HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualification and ideally will have a technical engineering background.
