My client is one of the largest providers of social housing within the North West and currently looking to expand operations across the region.
Description
Interim Building Surveyor - Planned Works
For this role the successful candidate will be required too:
- Oversee planned works/capital investment schemes carried out by principal contractors on behalf of the HA.
- Be able to contract administer these works from inception to completion, including: carrying out scoping surveys, drawing up schedule of works, monitoring contractors on site, signing off completed works before handover to end stakeholder
- Be responsible for budget management on capital works schemes on a weekly and monthly basis, updating records on asset management software and in house spreadsheets
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- minimum 3 years experience of working as a building surveyor on social housing maintenance schemes
- Building Studies or Surveying degree
- experience of working to NAT FED schedule of rates
