MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
DERBY
DOUBLE DAYS (6-2 / 2-10)
£29,000 - £31,000
We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. This position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company
Role Description
*Reporting Directly to the Engineering Manager
*Identifying and Fault Finding on both Electrical & Mechanical faults on a range
*Press machinery
*Working on presses, moulding machines, conveyors, process equipment etc…
*Assess route cause, strip down and determine most effective method of repair
*Planned Preventative Maintenance
*Read and interpret electrical schematics
*Adhering to all Health & Safety Parameters within the Manufacturing Unit
Skills and Qualifications
*Experience within a Manufacturing Environment
*Electrical time served (or equivalent) background
*PLC fault finding experience
*Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
*Ability to Work well within a Team Environment
*Willingness to Learn New Skills
