Water Treatment Commissioning Engineer - Stoke-on-Trent

Our client is a leading name within the water treatment/hygiene industry. They are now looking to recruit an experienced and hard-working Water Treatment Commissioning Engineer to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Stoke-on-Trent region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the balancing and commissioning of water systems to BSRIA standard on a varied site base. Due to the nature of the contracts the successful applicant must be happy with extensive travel. Applications from Chester, Manchester, Liverpool, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & experience: Will have a good water treatment, chemical, technical and maintenance background. Excellent communication skills. Competent in using Microsoft office package. A good working knowledge of the water industry. Experience working in this role within the water treatment industry essential. Role: Balancing and commissioning Water and Air systems in line with CIBSE and BSRIA guidelines Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company standards. Carry out allocated service work adhering to client's specifications. Conduct training of staff when required. Repair and commissioning of water treatment equipment and controllers. Undertake service visits on cooling towers. Installation, servicing and repair of water softeners. Inspecting project installs where required. Diagnose electrical faults with equipment. Produce reports and prepare quotations. Undertake chlorination and disinfection works on both hot and cold water systems, boilers and cooling towers. Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with the company's clients.
