Site Supervisor

Our client has been operating for over 40 years within the groundwork and civil engineering arena supporting local authorities, utility providers and major contractors. Building on their knowledge and experience as specialist subcontractors on commercial, industrial and residential properties they are now looking to appoint a Site Supervisor based in the West Midlands. Reporting to the Senior Site Manager you will; Manage labour on site Organisation of plant & material deliveries Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are met Ensuring the efficiency of the workforce Time management of the workforce Ensuring high quality of work from pre-commencement to post-completion Organisation of site activities Ensuring compliance with company procedures and site rulesAttributes: SSSTS / SMSTS - Desirable Valid UK driving licence - Mandatory Operatives or Supervisor (Preferred) NRWSA Streetworks - Mandatory CSCS card - Mandatory 10+ years' experience in highways / groundworks industry Be proactive in your approach to problem solving A good communicator with workforce and clients Be able to organise yours and others workload
