We have an opportunity for a Plumber / Plumbers Mate / Repair & Maintenance Operative to join the market leading provider of Portable cabins, Secure Storage Solutions, Modular buildings and associated products. The depot operation stores and prepares the units ready for hire or sale, refurbishing and modifying as required. Applicants will need to have basic plumbing skills and experience (no qualification required). The role: The company's Repair & Maintenance Operatives / Cabin Fitters are multi-skilled and carry out a variety of tasks every day whilst refurbishing cabins for hire. Multi-skill training and the opportunity to develop your skills will be available. This role will have a focus on basic plumbing work but will also support with the general maintenance, repair and fit out of cabins / modular buildings. Required skills and experience: To be able to fit sinks, taps and worktops Have a basic understanding of plumbing circuits/systems To be able to complete water pressure testing To be able to test and complete water sterilisation To be able to fit standard convector, over sink & under sink water heater, downflow heater and standard hand dryer Previous experience in similar or relevant role would be highly desirable e.g. Plumber, Plumbers mate, Pipe fitter, Facilities Maintenance, Property Maintenance, Property Repair. You would need to have a willingness to learn; the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team; a flexible approach to work and working hours (including regular overtime). Ideally you may hold a recognised qualification in your specialism and a CSCS card, however full training will be provided to obtain these following the successful completion of a probationary period.
