The position of Electrical Contracts Manager will head up this new division of the business and work closely alongside the Managing Director to run that side of the business. Your responsibilities will include: Dealing with clients from initial enquiry through design, installation hand-over and maintenance Electrical design and estimation, contracts management to P&L level Project administration alongside your project manager Other ad hoc administrational duties Business planning for year 1 through to year 3, including resource management, profit expectations, choosing client and business types Working closely with the marketing department to ensure that the new department has clarity on marketplace, choice of media and message. This would include draft submissions of blog posts and installation reviews BUSINESS AREAS: Lighting and emergency lighting installations and upgrades Electrical maintenance, 5-year fixed wiring and thermal inspections etc. Mains supply installations and upgrades Data network design and installation New build complete electrical installations, including fire and security systems Private client smart & secure technology installations Renewables ESSENTIAL: You must be open for a challenge and have a positive attitude towards problem solving Must be IT literate with experience of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Work and Excel Must be able to either use CAD or be prepared to learn it Understand social media and appreciate marketing Must have a valid driving licence Used to working in a team environment where communication is crucial In return, you’ll receive a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 pa depending on experience.
