Health & Safety Manager London An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a leading main contractor on a high profile civil engineering project in North London. As the Health & Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining modern health and safety policies across a large, multi million £ project. You'll initially be office based before moving to the site later this year. Some of your key duties will include: Providing advice on best practice for health, safety and environmental practices Reviewing RAMS for a majority of the site based activities Undertaking site inspections and consulting and advising where necessary Providing quick, effective solutions to all health & safety related matters and queriesThe successful Health & Safety Manager will need to have experience working for a main contractor on a large civil engineering project in a managerial capacity. You'll need first class communication skills, a passion for maintaining strong safety procedures on site and confident when putting across your ideas and practices into effect. Candidates will also be required to hold a valid NEBOSH certificate.
