Job Description

Are you a experienced qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to further your career? Experienced and qualified in commercial building maintenance? Then please read on . A large FM company are recruiting for a Electric Maintenance Engineer to join an existing team at a large R&D site near Cambridge . This is a day shift role working 5 on 5 off with a mix of days and night shifts. Benefits include : Competitive starting salary Excellent opportunities to progress 5 Weeks Leave Overtime available On going training and development Responsibilities will include: Working on site specialist equipment Day to day duties include undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance Typical duties will include HVAC, UPS, BMS and general maintenance Carrying out minor repairs and fault finding to the buildings/grounds as required Regular checks to ensure fire alarms and fire fighting equipment are in working order, management of fire drills, fire alarm testing, and updating the fire precautions log book Changing light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and ensuring clocks are maintained/adjusted You will be responsible for liaising with specialist contractors and more general housekeeping tasks Liaising with management regarding any health & safety issues, ongoing repairs, maintenance and building projects My client are keen to meet with individuals with the following: Electrically Qualified Minimum City & Guilds/ NVQ in electrical trade Proven track record in similar environment Full driving licence Be proactive in their approach to work Experience working within an RD or critical environments (desired) If you are interested apply online now,or for any questions please contact Catherine on (phone number removed).
