My client a will known main contractor our currently recruiting a Site Manager for the projects based in the south East Region of the UK in the Peterborough area for projects from £1million to £50million.
Roles & Responsibilities for a Site Manager:
- The ideal candidate is required to have extensive experience on commercial and industrial projects preferably with working on steel frames, traditional frames and RC frames
- Have great managerial and organisational skills to keep the site running to schedule as well as have previous experience on concrete and time frame construction
- 5 years experience as a Site Manager is required as well as having a thorough understanding of planning regulations, the workings of buildings and Health and Safety
- The day to day running of the site from materials, labour and managing sub contractors must be carried out by the individual
- Proven record of delivering projects on time and on budget at a high quality
Skills Required:
- Sound knowledge of building construction
• Sound knowledge of Health, Safety and Welfare facilities and CDM
• Good communication, organisation, collator, delegator and man management
• Articulate, numerate, literate and able to read drawings
• Authoritative, decisive
• Clean driving licence
• Minimum 5 years site management experience
• Administration skills
• Advantageous to hold ONC, HNC certificate in construction or similar
• Holds a current and relevant CSCS Card
• Hold a current 3 day first aid qualification
