Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager / BDM to join this highly reputable & long-established Building Services & Roofing Company.
Based out of lovely, professional offices just SW of Norwich, your role is to help to nurture existing clients in order to gain more business, as well as driving new business opportunities. You will probably spend c. 45% of your time in the office & c. 55% out in the field.
This is an amazing opportunity - a new role to help aid expansion, working at senior level within the organisation, reporting into the Operations Director.
Current clients include housing associations, councils, new builds, educational establishments etc, as well as many private clients. Due to the level of clients you will be dealing with, you should be used to liaising at a high level, and a proven success rate with increasing revenue.
The geographical region you will cover is mostly Norfolk but probably no further than a c.70-mile radius around Norwich.
My client offers the best service in the region, however the cost can reflect that, so you need to be good at 'selling' why quality costs less in the long run.
There is a huge amount of business being quoted for each month, but not followed up on so you have a constant pipeline of leads to work from, as well as incoming enquiries.
Some client entertainment may be required with the larger clients in order to probe for extra business.
You should have a proven BDM background ideally within a Construction related background & be used to liaising with mid management level clients. Driving license essential.
Remuneration includes a c. £35-40K basic + generous Bonus + car.
