Job Purpose A brand new opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Small Works Projects Manager to join our hard facilities maintenance healthcare team. Rydon Maintenance provides first-class planned, responsive, lifecycle and cyclical maintenance and repairs services across the NHS and our small works team support the NHS with delivering a range of small hard facilities/construction projects from minor adaptations, small refurbishments through to repurposing of Trust space. Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a rapidly expanding Facilities Management Company, with over 130 staff and 24 years as an established business within the industry. Our client specialises on the maintenance of commercial buildings and have projects throughout the London, Midlands, and Northwest regions. Due to new growth through new contracts won and subsequently new projects commissioned, my client are now looking to add an experienced Assistant Supervisor.
The right candidate will be Assisting with the Management of site & Contractual aspects of Facilities Management, this role is best suited someone looking to develop & progress into a management role, full training will be provided. This role will be an Office Based client facing role.
The Assistant Supervisor is responsible for:
* Control purchases sub-contractor/costs for their region.
* Respond to client requests and attend meetings when required gaining client.confidence.
* Developing key client relationships.
* Assisting your Line Manager with contractual targets, site visits, service visits and repairs being carried out.
* Ensure that sub-contractors used on your sites are carrying out work in.
* Generate Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
* Taking Ownership for service levels and compliance within maintenance portfolio.
* Identifying, quoting and overseeing repair work within maintenance portfolio.
* Managing, mentoring and motivating engineers working within maintenance portfolio.
Ideal Candidates will have:
* Solid experience within the M&E/Facilities Management/Building services Industry.
* Experience working on Commercial Projects.
* Strong Technical experience, MS Office, EXCEL etc. (Ideally CAFM systems)
* Great Interpersonal Skills (Able to communicate, effectively and efficiently.)
* Level 3 Qualification or higher in either the Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC disciplines (Not Essential)

We are currently seeking a Site Manager for a specialist affordable housing contractor and residential property developer operating in London and the South East
Company Overview: Our client is a multi-disciplinary residential construction and property development business with an enviable track record spanning four decades in creating high quality new build homes throughout London and the South East. They have an outstanding reputation for delivering high quality projects on time and budget and thrive on repeated business and strong relationships. This has resulted in a 40% growth secured for 2023.
Position: Our client work closely with Decorum Housing and have been awarded a small new build residential scheme in Hemel Hempstead which starts end of March / early April.
The project will involve demolition and consist of a small block of traditional build apartments and a row of houses for which they require a Site Manager to run, reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
This is a great opportunity for an experience Assistant Site Manager who wants to step up to Site Manager and run their own project.
Individual: The successful individual will have previous experience driving and delivering new build residential schemes. You will be fully responsible for day-to-day site activities through to successful delivery and hand over while reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
