European Co-ordinator (German or Spanish speaking)

About the role:
The role is to work as a dedicated member of a team that works with businesses to cut their carbon emissions and improve their environmental impact.
This focus on mainland Europe is a major opportunity to save European businesses millions of euros from their energy bills and avoid millions of tonnes of carbon going into the atmosphere, and is supported by a significant marketing campaign.
The European Co-ordinator will handle enquiries that come in to the Carbon Trust via phone, email, LiveChat and event forms about the opportunity for them to work with the Carbon Trust. The Co-ordinator will also proactively promote the Carbon Trust through marketing and communication channels.
The role requires the applicant to be fluent in English, and either German or Spanish, ideally both.
The Carbon Trust's mission is to accelerate the move to a sustainable, low carbon economy. The Carbon Trust provides innovative advice to governments and businesses around the world to support the global transition to a low carbon economy.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Promoting working with the Carbon Trust on the phone and email to enquirers and trying to convert their initial interest to a tangible outcome;• Capturing these enquiries as opportunities where appropriate into our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system;• Handling all inbound enquiries into the Carbon Trust from mainland Europe and fielding them appropriately to the relevant person internally;• Supporting the delivery of mainland European marketing campaigns, making outbound calls to prospects;• Reporting back to the marketing team on numbers of enquiries per day/week/month and showing how these have been dealt with/allocated;• Utilising marketing techniques to promote the scheme e.g. through direct marketing or through partner organisations duties and responsibilities.
Key skills we are looking for:
• Excellent professional skills on the phone and via email;• Strong language skills in German, Spanish and English;• Able to convert prospect interest into action;• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with team members;• Positive, proactive, professional and confident approach;• Organised and diligent;• Highly reliable, with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality;• Good administration skills;• Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Eventbrite experience an advantage;• A desire to be part of the growing momentum to help businesses reduce the impacts of climate change on the planet;• Interest in developing marketing skills (essential) • Some marketing knowledge (desirable)
Qualifications and experience:
Degree level education (required)Active interest in sustainability (required)Fluent in English, German and Spanish (2 required, 3 desirable)Business to business sales experience (desirable)
Salary & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary and a performance based bonus. Our hours are 37.5 per week with 28 days paid holiday plus bank holidays and a generous pension scheme.
