The Role:
To work independently to undertake the Planned and reactive maintenance tasks on various M&E installations on our client's premises, to ensure compliance with the specification, PPM, Schedules and Procedures, complete paperwork records and provide quotations for outstanding actions.

Performing scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems, fixtures & fittings Installation and repair of sanitary ware, point of use heaters, showers, etc. in line with manufacturer’s instructions
Carrying out repairs & maintenance including replacing of parts to mains water installations and commercial heating systems pipework, pumps, valves, expansion joints and radiators.
Ensuring all installations, repairs and maintenance meet expectation and standards required in line with manufacturer’s instructions and water regulations
Pipe fitting / replacement and lagging duties where required
Assisting with fuel deliveries and tank dips if needed
Working within H&S guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times
Skills and experience
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent plumbing accreditation
Proven experience of working as a plumber in a domestic, commercial or industrial setting
Knowledge of water regulations
Understanding of commercial heating systems including unvented hot water systems
Computer literacy is essential – Must be able to use PDA to record timesheets / job status (training provided on specific system) and read emails
Customer service driven

The Role:
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Mechanical and/or Electrical Estimator/Proposals Engineer, to be based at our Head Office in Southampton. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, together with the preparation of the necessary technical and commercial submission documentation for a wide variety of M&E Engineering projects across the UK and overseas. Applicants should have a background in estimating M&E projects as well as ideally having a mechanical or electrical engineering background, with a working knowledge of the related electrical and ICA elements.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Report to the Estimating and Bid Manager, programme and manage own workload within the MEICA estimating team
* Prepare multi-discipline proposals for the Process & Water, Energy, Defence, Oil & Gas and Nuclear sectors
* Comply fully with the documented company tendering procedures
* Read and fully understand client specifications and drawings
* Understand documentation required for formal submissions
* Ascertain preliminary and detailed project requirements and solutions, including programmes and value engineering solutions

* Prepare material, labour, plant and subcontractor cost analysis spreadsheets
* Prepare preliminary tender programmes
* Organise and partake in bid initiation, technical and commercial review meetings and subsequent follow up meeting with technical and commercial directors.
* Present the cost estimate in full detail to management for review and final approval. Responsible, with senior management, for the identification, evaluation and ranking of risks as well as developing a strategy to manage and mitigate the risks to the company as the basis for estimating an appropriate contingency allowance for inclusion in the cost estimate.

We also provide a range of bespoke modular and containerised water & wastewater treatment and fuel conditioning systems.

The Project Engineer will work on various water & process projects for Trant, on either of our frameworks with Southern Water or Portsmouth Water. .
The Project Engineer will be reporting to a Project Manager and will be responsible for supporting all technical and commercial aspects of Electrical, Mechanical and Civil installations on site. The Project Engineer should have a background in either Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering but should have a good appreciation of all professions. A background in delivering water or wastewater projects would be a strong advantage.
Role & Responsibilities
·Attend internal and external design review and progress meetings.
·Produce and review electrical & mechanical design documentation.
·Produce specifications and outline designs.
·Procurement of Electrical & Mechanical Equipment and support for subcontract procurement.
·Ensure that site installation works and quality match both design and appropriate industry standards.
·Record and Review as-built information.
·Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
·Programme Updates.
·Procurement schedules.
Qualification/Competency
·Degree or HND/HNC in either Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering.
·Water Engineering background preferred but not essential.
·Good working Knowledge of Safety, Health Environment and Quality Procedures.
·Microsoft Office and CAD packages.
·Good appreciation of Excel to a ‘Higher’ level.
