Requisites:
Must come from a good chemical and technical background and at the same time must have extensive experience working within this role and within the water hygiene industry.
Will be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation and have a good working knowledge of ACOP L8.
Previous experience working on closed systems, cooling towers and steam boilers would be advantageous.
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and organisational skills.
Must be IT literate and proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Key Tasks:
Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
Carrying out temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Servicing TMV's.
Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments as and when required.
Liaising with the company's mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
Collating and providing service reports and maintaining the standards according to the regulations - Health and Safety.
Overall, the successful post-holder will versatile, flexible, have good work ethos and have the ability to prioritise and complete workload within time frame. They must be flexible with regards to travelling.
