We are currently working with a global food and independent food manufacturer based in North West London. Due to the company going through expansion they are now seeking an intermediate Production Manager who has the drive and hunger to become the Factory Manager at a later stage.


FACTORY MANAGER 
As this is a key role within the business and an integral part to maintain high operation standards and exceed customer expectations - we are looking for a hands-on factory manager who can act as a process improvement champion. With a focus on Continuous Improvement and the effective management of the team and budgetary control, this position requires a confident, motivated individual who has a passion for leading people and optimizing the factory's functionality. As part of the Management team, the successful individual will work to achieve high product quality levels, strategic objectives and a consistently high level of performance. 

THE CANDIDATE 
Ideally looking for someone who can initiate change, implement a Continuous Improvement culture and help take the operation to the next level. The successful candidate will be a consummate leader and play a big part in the growth of the business. 
Requirements: 
·         You be able to grasp the dynamics of business where product quality is as important as production cost and capability 
·         This is a multi-faceted role where you will ensure that resources are used effectively including skilled and dedicated workforce. 
·         Hands on approach and management style 
·         Lead the team effectively and bring ideas and vision to the role 
·         Ability to work with an entrepreneurial and high performing management team and structure 
·         A logical thinker with strong numerical, analytical and evaluation skills 
·         High standard of IT skills and advanced Excel knowledge 
·         Food experience is desirable but not essential
