M&E Buyer - Site Based

Job Title: M&E Buyer (Project/Site based) Your salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Where: Central London Job type: Permanent How you apply: Online, or telephone (Michael Stevens) Who you'll be working for: One of the longest established and most recognized M&E Contractors in the UK with expertise in design and installation of mechanical & electrical services and systems for the Residential, Commercial, Healthcare and educational Sector. Some of your responsibilities: * You will be responsible for all day to day procurement activities on the project * You will work as part of the project team and will assist the project manager where required. * You will be responsible for the upkeep/progress of the project procurement schedule and thus issue this to the project Manager on a weekly/fortnightly format. * You will be responsible for the completion of mini comparisons under the frame work of the project work orders You: * Should have a strong knowledge of the mechanical and electrical industry with a bias to mechanical side * Must be computer literate in Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook. * Must have strong communication skills and be able to work as part of a project team. * Must have an understanding of budget control and show strong negotiation skills.
