Quantity Surveyor

An established national main contractor who have been trading for more than 100 years, with a secure order schedule for the next five years, require a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS to join their expanding commercial team. The client is seeking an ambitious and driven Surveyor with a proven track record being involved with multi million pound schemes, cost saving and can display evidence of this in previous roles. The commercial division in which you would join has displayed steady growth and delivers a variety of building schemes in the Essex and London Borough’s. As a company, they are turning over in excess of £200 million and are set to grow again. As a department projects that are being tendered for are being won so the need for an addition to the commercial team is a genuine need. The client is offering the opportunity to work on a flagship scheme beneath very well established project surveyors and senior surveyors, the benefit of this is development prospects on a daily basis – eventually leading towards promotions. Ideally the chosen Surveyor will be well experienced with a top tier contractor or an established regional contractor, with a proven track record working on new build design and build schemes. Fit out experience is also valid and desirable. The client is one of the country’s leading contractors and continues to go from strength to strength.
