THE ROLE
As a Construction Project Manager here at OWN LONDON, you will have experience working for a London based contractor or developer within the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors. You will report to the Construction Director and be responsible for the day-to-day site management and supervision of the project construction team. As Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting building surveys, performing condition surveys, You will also oversee contract management and handle dilapidation matters. You may also: Manage delivery of projects through liaison with the Director, clients, design team, external consultants and in-house resources. Conduct detailed site research, take photos, land registry make informed decisions regarding level of due diligence required based on developing the risk profile of each project. Researching into projects, liaising with local authorities and colleagues to ensure proper resource allocation and a timely delivery. Data processing and managing the information storage process, schemes and other duties requested as a part of the role. Generally helping and supporting the team to achieve goals & deadlines. About You You will need to hold a full and clean driving licence and have a vehicle as part of your work, which will often be remote and offsite. When in office, you will be working from Dartford. You will be degree educated: property related, law or geography preferred. Hold full RICS highly desired. Have building Surveying and Condition Surveys skills (including defects analysis and party wall). Knowledge of contract management. Expertise in handling dilapidations. Hold relevant building surveying experience required. Understanding of property development process and market The ability to deal with a range of clients and situations is essential.
