An opportunity has arisen for an Architect with 5 – 10 years experience to join one Essex’s biggest architectural practice.
They have been established for more than 60 years and in that time have gathered an extensive expertise over a wide spectrum of design and building commissions throughout he UK. Awards have been secured for city developments and historic/restoration projects. Experience has been gained in the Education, University, Business Parks, Offices, Research and Development, Retail, Residential , Leisure and Industrial sectors. Projects for Community/Public use also figure prominently in the work of the Practice, together with a miscellany of other commissions covering Theatre, Museum, Library and Restoration work.
We have an expanding and varied workload, ranging from commercial and education projects to residential and master planning schemes.
The posts would suit talented ‘all rounders’ who can demonstrate strong design skills, and be capable of leading projects from inception to planning stages, and good client interfacing skills are essential. You must have an excellent working knowledge of Revit, Microstation, Sketchup and Adobe-Creative Suites.
The ideal applicant will have:
* RIBA Part-III or equivalent degree qualification
* Excellent design skills
* Project running experience (RIBA 1-6)
* BIM skills
* Fluency in English with excellent visual and verbal communication skills
* UK planning policy and building regulation knowledge
