What will you be doing?
You will be working as part of the internal build team on the installation of the bus shelters (Small Format) and Adshel Live panel installs (Advertising panels)
Installation work will include working within public areas, roadside with breaking up ground to install the sub-structure, setting out for the shelter to be correctly installed in the planned location. These will be mainly pre-build shelters collected from our local depot and delivered to site in sections that will be built into appropriate foundations.
This role will require travelling to sites throughout the Plymouth region with possibilities of travelling to the west of the UK with the use of a company vehicle in future projects.
Opportunities to enhance and develop additional skills will be possible as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
To be able to manage your workloads issued within the agreed timescales
Meet the business timescales objectives
Have a good understanding Setting out
Ensure that traffic management is in place prior to commencement of work
Guarantee that segregation and prevention measures are put in place to prevent unauthorised members of the public within the working areas
Correct use of working at height equipment – Following the site-specific risk assessments and method statements
Maintain and safeguard the tools and equipment on site and ensure that they are stored in a lockable unit at the end of the shift
Report any near misses, accidents or incidents on site to the Construction Manager
Adhere to the Construction Design and Management regulations 2015
Knowledge, Experience and Attributes:
Have a full driving licence.
Hold a CSCS card or equivalent such as IOSH, SSSMS
Competent in the use of machinery
Experience with working on HIAB’s – Slinger skilled
Excavation and Sub- Structure knowledge
Understanding of RAMS
Have the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Use of power tools such as Hydraulic breakers and Stihl Saws
Working within a team to achieve targets.

In this role, you will have the responsibility to manage all aspects of the maintenance, repair and small project work to Parliament's specialist building services systems, which include Fire Alarms, Security Systems, BMS Systems and the largest private internal TV network in the country. Ideally, you will have significant experience in managing large complex networked electronic building systems as well as operating computerised maintenance software and managing significant budgets. You will manage a wide range of specialist contractors in conjunction with our contracts team to ensure maximum system availability. As such this role will require a mixture of hands-on practical knowledge and management experience. Our client, a renowned and leading pharmaceutical company, are looking to recruit a Global Facilities Manager to become a valued member of their successful company. This is a fully remote role, but will require the successful candidate to be open to international travel (CHINA / US / EUROPE). This is a 12 month, full time contract inside IR35, and offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package. Responsibilities as a Global Facilities Manager Lead the development of regional and global solutions for optimal access to market facing best practice FM service delivery models Program manage initiatives in the Facility Management scope Engagement with, incorporation of and securing buy-in from sites and stakeholders Engagement and management of external consultants as required on a project basis Ensure delivery of internal competences and support the development of the divisional facility management strategy Lead the development of new concepts for lifecycle asset management, service delivery/integrated facility management, operability of assets and compliance assurance Lead the implementation of FM portfolio optimization projects, including but not limited to service delivery integrated facilities management, lifecycle asset management, digitalization and facility operations Drive and support the implementation of new concepts for FM operations across the portfolio Establish and introduce new guidance & training programs covering strategy, contracting, governance, data and processes Drive consistent market facing performance measurement and benchmarking capabilities Support the growth of collaboration through active participation in global and regional facilities councils, workshops, conferences and news articles across all areas of interest Qualifications and Educational Requirements University level education (BSc or equivalent) in Facility Management or a related field At least 10 years in major FM projects (ideally balanced between owner, consultant and contractor sides) International experience across cultures and a track record of delivering change Strong and clear communication skills across all levels of the organization Ability to build lasting relationships and show openness and understanding for other perspectives Focus on continuous improvement, strong systematic thinking and the ability to self-reflect Preferred Skills Excellent leadership in a matrix organization even without direct reporting lines Strategic and logical approach with experience of handling relationships at all levels and the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level Clear and transparent decision making Proven experience in managing a portfolio of projects Willingness to travel internationally Membership of a professional body such as IFMA, IWFM, GEFMA, RICS, FMN, FMA etc Job Title: Global Facilities Manager Location: Remote (with willingness to travel to China / US / Europe) Salary: .94 PAYE basic pay per day Full Time Inside IR35 - 12 Month Contract For more information about this Global Facilities Manager role, please contact Chloe McCausland at Clearline Recruitment.
