Reporting into the Technical Director, the Associate Electrical Engineer role will be responsible for team leadership and the management of stakeholders and clients, and ensuring business processes and team resources are aligned for effective project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing detailed design of electrical and multi-disciplinary projects ranging from major new build developments to refurbishment, adaptation and fit-outs.
* Co-ordination of building services design with other disciplines and with external parties such as architects and client project delivery teams.
* Co-ordinate with contractors and manufacturers on a technical level.
* Participate in project activities including design, specification and documentation.
* Review and comment on contractor technical submittals.
* Participate in Construction stage activities for projects including compliance, quality monitoring and witness testing.
* Lead and guide and participate in projects from initial concept through to completion.
* Contribute to the overall design work of allocated projects
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree (BEng) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
* Experienced and qualified in the field of electrical engineering design and delivery.
* Demonstrable experience writing specifications, controls software or commissioning.
* Site experience of building services solutions appropriate for projects within the Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Data Centre and/or Life Sciences sectors.
* Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels including a proven ability to communicate with technical staff across multiple disciplines.
* Have attributes of a team player and willingness to be involved in the growth of a small specialty discipline.

Our client is an established and expanding water company, who provides a wide range of water treatment / hygiene and legionella services to clients through out the UK. They are currently recruiting for a professional and hard-working Water Treatment Service Chemist based in and around the Leeds area area. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with on-site test kits and under-taking the analysis of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed system water. Applications will be considered from Bradford, Doncaster, Harrogate, Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & experience:
Qualifications & experience:
Must have extensive experience working within a water treatment service chemist role.
Will have experience using onsite test kits and under-taking the analysis of cooling tower, steam boilers and closed system water.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A chemistry / science degree would be advantageous.
Previous experience of managing water treatment accounts would be advantageous but not essential.
Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
Role:
Chemical Analysis of Cooling towers, Steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
Maintenance on Domestic and Industrial water systems.
Routine monitoring tasks.
Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
Flushing of Calorifiers.
Updating of Site Log Books.
Chemical tank cleans and temperature monitoring.
Maintaining a professional working relationship with clients.
Secure, manage and develop new key accounts whilst still managing existing ones.
Dealing with Health & Safety issues.
