The successful candidate will have hands on experience delivering a wide range of water hygiene duties to a varied site base. Previous experience of legionella risk assessing is benefical but not essential as training can be provided. Consideration will be given to applications from York, Bradford, Huddersfield and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & experience:
Previous experience working as a water hygiene engineer within the water industry.
Hands on experience under-taking legionella risk assessments would be beneficial but not essential.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Excellent communication skills.
Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry.
Role:
Servicing of hot and cold water systems and chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers, chlorination, etc.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
Performing remedial plumbing works following on from legionella risk assessments.
Maintaining a good relationship with the company's portfolio of clients.
Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, changing and replacing tanks, flushing systems, water softeners, etc.
Monitoring client's air and water systems ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Providing accurate reports and maintaining paper work.
