This Asbestos Surveyor role will see you conduct a range of Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition type Asbestos Surveys on various Domestic, Commercial and Industrial level properties across Kent, Surrey and the South Coast locations. This is primarily a field based role so you must be able to travel as required.
To be considered for this opportunity of Asbestos Surveyor, you must be BOHS P402 qualified with at least 1-2 years of Asbestos Surveying experience, with great knowledge of Asbestos and technical ability of implementing HSG:264 "The Survey Guide" activities. In addition to this, you will be required to have strong report writing skills, as well as collecting relevant data and bulk samples for Testing as required.
On offer for your expertise, you will be offered a salary of up to £28,000 per annum, including a fully expensed company vehicle, access to a pension scheme, flexible overtime options and career progression opportunities!

We now have a vacancy for a competent and reliable Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy to work on a variety of contracts in the South West, consideration will be given to applications from Somerset, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.
Minimum requirements for this role:
- Must possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates.
- Have the relevant experience in asbestos surveying, air-monitoring and within the asbestos arena.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Well-versed with the Health & Safety pertaining to asbestos,
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A good work ethic and at the same time be flexible
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
- Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on commercial and industrial properties.
- Overseeing contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos.
- Submitting comprehensive reports as and when required.
- Building and maintaining good relationship with clients.
