Job Description

Our client are recruiting for an Architectural Technician to be based, Grimsby, DN37 9TZ. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week and on offer will be a salary circa £30,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience). This role will report into Head of Architecture. Responsibilities are: Support Project Leads and where appropriate act as Project Lead to deliver construction related new build and refurbishment projects, working with the Project Team to achieve the project deliverables within the agreed time, quality and financial objectives Liaise with clients evaluating the requirements of commissions and assist in developing a clear brief Undertake design work with an innovative approach considering conservation, sustainability, energy efficiency and budget Prepare production information, tender packages and submit Planning and Building Regulation applications Consult with clients and end users, regulatory bodies, funding agencies, statutory bodies and deal with complex or contentious issues in a positive and professional manner Support the Architectural Consultancy in delivering improved services in an efficient and effective manner Deliver the service in line with the Consultancy's quality management procedures and demonstrate an understanding of the principles behind these Qualifications We seek an Architectural Technician with a background in delivering high quality services in both the public and private sectors An HND or an architectural degree, or equivalent Design ability with detail knowledge of technical aspects of building construction and trades Knowledge of legislative aspects of project delivery including Planning, Building Regulations etc Competent in AutoCAD with knowledge of Revit and MS applications e.g. Word, Excel, Project Knowledge of project leadership and contract administration Commercial awareness and experience of working within a multi-disciplinary design environment Adecco is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
