Our NHS client is looking to recruit a Construction Supervisor and site foreman to manage upcoming works on a new clinical surgery.
The post holder will form part of the New Works team in delivering projects under their remit and supporting colleagues in the coordination and delivery of minor / major projects.
Responsibilities

Our Client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are currently recruiting for a Groundworks Foreman / Supervisor for a Scheme in the Southall area.
The Project comprises of external works to residential housing blocks.
Candidate must have:
- Previous Supervisory experience within Groundworks.
- Ideally local to Southall
- External Works knowledge.
- Minimum SSSTS (SMSTS advantageous)
- First Aid.

Due to a robust client base and relatively unaffected order book in the current climate, this well-established building contractor are looking to add a Working Foreman to their operational team. They specialise in internal fit out and refurbishment works, with projects ranging in value from c£20k to c£1m.
This position will see you as number one on site operationally looking after health and safety on site as well as ensuring the quality of the work. You will be responsible for the site diary, deliveries and site program in addition to managing any direct staff or sub-contractors on site. Ultimately driving the site to a practical completion in a safe way ensuring the client are pleased with the process and completed project.
Support and training can be provided if this is your first supervisory position. The most important qualities to possess at application stage are a common-sense approach, good communication skills and a solid trade background with good overall construction knowledge.
You will most likely come from a carpentry background, or be a Carpenter at present looking to move into site management. You will need to hold a valid CSCS card and ideally First Aid at Work and SMSTS or SSSTS certificates. However, this company are committed to professional development of their team and can assist with these certificates for the right person.
