To carry out all work and activities in a safe and responsible manner, paying particular regard to standards of cleanliness and tidiness, control to minimize noise and dust levels and to fully comply with current Health and Safety at work regulations/ method statements, showing the necessary duty of care to oneself and others, as well as adhering to current BS7671 standards under supervision. 2.5 To provide assistance and support as and when required to other operatives and staff carrying out their duties. 2.6 To carry out the following: 2.6.1 Preparing wall surfaces to install new cable e.g. chasing out walls. 2.6.2 Carry out general labouring duties, for example breaking out and dismantling, e.g. of brickwork, plaster etc. 2.6.3 Removal of spoil from chasing out walls etc. 2.6.4 General tasks, such as all aspects required for 1st and 2nd fix of an electrical installation. 2.6.5 Assisting the Electrical team in the installation/modification of electrical tasks as far as electrical regulations allow. 2.6.6 Run/install a variety of cabling and containment as required. 2.6.7 Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required to support the needs of the team

Long-term work for the right candidates, working 40 hours per week.

Good Health & Safety knowledge
Excellent organisational, time management and people skills, with an ability and confidence to coordinate and direct third party contractors and employees
A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance and demonstrable planning & project management skills
Previous experience leading teams of Electricians and General Maintenance staff, taking operational responsibility for the Electrical service delivery on the site
