The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with the Managing Surveyor and the Commercial management team, helping them deliver an increasing pipeline of projects for clients within the power sector. A great opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction contractor based in High Wycombe. The company focus on a range of projects including architectural glass, structural glazing, roofing, canopies, glass partitioning and glazed screens for commercial, retail and leisure projects across London and the Home Counties.
The suitable Trainee Quantity Surveyor will have a degree in a realevant subject (Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management) or possess some years' experience working at a Junior/Trainee/Graduate level within the construction industry. The Trainee Quantity Surveyor will be working on exciting projects across London and be given ongoing training and guidance to become a fully-fledged Quantity Surveyor.

Obtain cost information (estimating data, quotations etc.)
Obtain and agree procurement schedule
Establish valuation dates
Raise invoices
Submit valuations
Place sub-contract orders
Submit cost value reconciliations
Submit and agree final account
Site visits
Further Quantity Surveying duties
Trainee Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
Relevant qualification (Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management etc.)
OR Post qualification experience as a Junior Quantity Surveyor
Construction experience
Full UK Driver's License
Commutable distance to High Wycombe
Experience within the architectural glass and glazing sector would be highly advantageous (not necessary)
