Our client, a consultancy working across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire are seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their expanding team. Our client predominantly works from RIBA Stages 0-4 and are seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join the team and work on a variety of exciting residential projects. You will be given support throughout your career and have the ability to complete your Part III with this opportunity.
With their work mainly being with various housing associations around Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, they are open to where the successful candidate is from so talented candidates anywhere in the UK are invited to apply. Due to Covid they have moved away from a centralised office to working from home and see this as part of a long term plan. Part of their ethos is to build on the opportunity that has been presented by Covid-19 to introduce key changes to their working practices. The successful Part II Architectural Assistant should have a good knowledge of Revit and ideally have a residential background, this can either be at Part I or Part II level.

Part II Architectural Assistant Position Overview
Prepare and present feasible reports and design proposals to clients
Advise on the nature and quality of materials needed
Produce planning details
Produce planning submissions
Work on residential projects from stages 0-4
Resolve any issues or problems that arise during construction
Part II Architectural Assistant Position Requirements
Relevant Qualification (Bachelors/Masters in Architecture)
Have working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Good knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe (advantageous)
New Build residential experience (preferred)
Good solid stage 3 planning experience (from initial feasibility studies, outline planning, pre-applications, to preparing and submitting full planning applications
