About this Role:
Sub Agent is required to work on a freelance/contract basis on a live highways project.
We are recruiting for an established Highways contractor, they require a candidate to be involved with a highways improvement contract valued at circa £5m.
Working alongside an established site agent. This role will suit a candidate with experience of working with utilities due to the amount of diversion work involved with the scheme.

The role will include site surveying in addition to maintaining communication across project streams and supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager.
This is an ongoing freelance contract role.
The role:
Land / site surveying
Identifying key sites
Strong involvement in pre-planning activities and site logistics
Maintaining relationships and communication across all elements of the project including customers, sub contractors and suppliers
Acting as a liaison point between different elements of the project
Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors
Write risk assessments, method statements and permits as appropriate
Manage site records
Promote safe working practices on site
Prepare and monitor programmes of work
Manage design co-ordination
Work alongside the Site Supervisor to assess plant and resource requirements
Skills and requirements:
Demonstrable experience of working as a Sub Agent (or similar)
Experience of site surveying
HNC / HND background or qualified by experience
