Job Description:
Co-ordinate all design matters relating to the project, helping to ensure that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within the contact budget. Taking on the responsibility of conducting financial, technical, and operational risk assessments and advising on risks. Opportunities and potential hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
Motivating and encouraging internal and external design teams
Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality, and are easy to decipher
Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind
Avoiding errors and reducing financial risk during construction
Ensuring designs are available to those who need them, at the appropriate time
Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
Keeping up to date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design
Working in an office, with occasional site visits.Skills needed:
Effective supervisory and organisational skills

The Project Manager will be expected to take autonomous control and responsibility for through design development to completion for the successful delivery of one or more Residential projects worth up to £40 million. Making sure the health and safety, budget, quality, risk, and programme.

Ensuring projects meet deadlines
Designing and signing off on contracts
Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Participating in tender process i.e., design, submission, and review
Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for your director
Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
Managing large and diverse teams
Job requirements:
Worked on projects worth £25-£30 million
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Excellent MS office skills
2 years+ experience
Excellent communication- both written and verbal
Must have excellent organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail
Strong leadership skills
