Key Skills:
Project Coordination: performing take-offs from drawings
Proficient in the preparation of Excel spreadsheets for build programmes, financial and procurement data, managing project schedules and associated documentation.

Identify and address issues promptly to minimise disruptions, resolve problems and keep projects on track.

Compliance: working with NHBC and other applicable regulators to register new house plots, administer the signing off for planning conditions and address any aftersales. The Senior Site Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for supervising the electrical engineering input of projects for the client who are based in West Sussex. Senior Site Electrical Engineer Position Requirements
* Design includes; Lightning protection/Earthing systems, Electrical power distribution & cable calculations Cable containment, 11kV High-Voltage, Fire alarm systems, Standby & prime generator installation design as well as LV panel, MCC Panel design, Security systems, power distribution and discrimination studies, lighting and emergency
* Completion of load flow spread sheets and analysis
* ATEX and UPS assessments/installations
* Witness commissioning activities, trials and FAT for compliance with design intent and good engineering practice.
* Leading a team of site based electrical design engineers & technicians, and reviewing their work as well as contributing to the actual design input.
* Estimate capital costs on projects
* Review submissions and installations for compliance with design intent and good engineering practice, being resident on a construction site as required for construction engineering assistance.
* Develop project risk registers
* Support project managers producing Fee proposals and Man-hour estimates.
* Monitor man-hours against the man-hour plan
* Support department engineers and CAD technicians both from a mentoring and project monitoring perspective
* Isolations and switchgear switching when needed
* Issue RAMS and site permits
Senior Site Electrical Engineer Position Remuneration
* Degree in engineering in either Electrical Engineering or Building Services however a HND with relative experience
* IET or CIBSE Chatership
* food or pharmaceutical project experience with clean room understanding
* Amtech Cable-master, Rialux & Dialux software knowledge
* Experienced working in a highly regulated QA environment
* Be planned and organised in your approach to work and meeting project deadlines
* Experience as a site based 'approved person' or 'engineer controlling the works' ECW as well as snagging, qualification and commissioning would be advantageous
