Essential Skills and Experience
An honours degree in construction management, project management or equivalent; You will hold qualifications at least Master’s level in a relevant subject area and will usually hold a PhD or be able to demonstrate equivalent high level professional experience in the related discipline.
A Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent)
Previous lecturing experience for similar courses

Experience teaching in the wider subject area

This role will be reporting into the Senior Project Manager on site, and the chosen candidate will be accountable for the delivery of electrical elements on the project.
You will have to identify risks and ensure mitigation measures are put into place, support the project manager to ensure the project budget and cost are and costs are managed effectively for all services.
To be the successful Electrical Project Engineer you will need to be a qualified Electrical Engineer. You will have the responsibility for successful completion of tasks allocated to you on a project.

My client is one the UK’s leading multi-discipline building, engineering and M&E specialists.
They work on a mix of commercial offices and hotels, education, health, residential and bespoke projects ranging from £2 million to £50 million.
They are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong Mechanical and Electrical background to join their well established and growing team.
Must have previous experience as an Operations Manager within a M&E company and have Tier 1 Contractor Experience.
Duties:
Ensure a safe working environment for all staff within Head Office
Work with Directors & Supervisors to establish and implement mobilisation plan for all new projects
Assist the Supervisors with the development of project programmes
Ensure the correct resources are available to allow teams to deliver their projects on time, to specification and budget
Monitor labour, subcontractors, plant and materials
Manage and motivate Contracts Managers, Supervisors, Foreman, site staff and subcontractors
Ensure customer promises are delivered and relationships are developed
Promote the values of the company at all opportunities
