Cityscape Recruitment
Project Director - Groundworks & Concrete Frames
Cityscape Recruitment
Senior Project Manager / Project Director RC Frame & Groundwork Packages - London £90,000 - £120,000 + Benefits (PAYE or Self-Employed) About the Employer: This business is one of my top clients. Having worked with them for the past 10+ years, I have seen them develop in both size and capability over this time. They now currently turnover above £120 million per annum, building concrete frame and groundwork packages ranging in value up to £50 million each for a variety of residential and commercial contractors and developers throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties. They have a very modern edge to the business while maintaining traditional roots. On a personal note, I believe this company is one of the best because of the environment they create for their people and because of the personalities of the superb senior management/directorship team. They go that extra mile to not only retain their staff but to truly keep them happy to be with the business. Small things have been added to the office, like a gym that people have access to all day. They have a treatment room where massages and cosmetic treatments are available to everyone on Fridays, free of charge. And they now even have a rooftop garden and BBQ area. I d want to work here myself if I had the relevant experience! They really are a great company to work for to gain great project experience, to develop capability in modern construction techniques and to be part of the values they believe in. About the Opportunity: With projects secured, this business is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager / Project Director for projects in London. All projects include RC frames, groundwork, and basement works, and your first project will be a £20m+ package. Whether you are working on a £10m package or a £50m+ package, the expectation remains the same; as the lead on your project, you will be expected to oversee everything from programme to budget. Client relationships should be developed, and it will be your responsibility to organise, plan and execute the works involved in multi-million-pound groundwork and RC frame packages. About the Requirements: Suitable candidates need to be degree qualified in civil engineering or construction management and must be able to show a strong history from a site engineer level through to project management over the last 5-10+ years. Candidates from solely a main contract or development background cannot be considered. Regarding software, our client uses the usual Microsoft programmes, standard email functions and Asta Power Project for planning/programming works. Project Managers will be required to use all these tools. I need Senior Project Managers who have stable backgrounds, have delivered medium to large RC frames and are looking to work for one of the best. About the Rewards: This business offers above-average packages to ensure their staff are happy with their income, and beyond this, to ensure they see this as a long-term move when joining the company. Stability of employment and maintaining a low staff turnover are important in line with everything this business stands for. I work with the vast majority of the groundwork & concrete frame businesses in the UK and I can help not only introduce you but can give you up-to-date information on each of them, helping you make an informed decision so you can take your career forward. I ve been doing this for a fair while now and I ve maintained a positive reputation doing what I do because I don t tell people whatever it takes, I tell them the truth. Cityscape Recruitment
Project Manager - RC Frames & Groundworks
Cityscape Recruitment
Project Manager / Project Director RC Frame & Groundwork Packages - London & Essex Projects £90,000 - £120,000 + Benefits (PAYE or Self-Employed) About the Employer: With offices just outside London as well as in Central London, this specialist contractor completes a variety of packages for top-tier developers, main contractors and private clients both in and around London. With one of their divisions having early involvement at the enabling works stage, carrying out remediation and demolition works, this business is then able to take projects through piling, groundwork, basement, and foundations stages through to the construction of reinforced concrete frames and structures. Project values vary, but average current package sizes range from £10m to £50m each, on a mixture of residential, mixed-use, industrial, infrastructure, and energy projects. On a personal note, I would add that I work very closely with this business not only because of their size and capability but also because of their vision, goals, and attitude towards the way they work. The owners and directors are all focused on not only being an option in the market, but on being the best specialist contractor in the UK. I have already seen them go from strength to strength over the past five years and now I am genuinely excited about the continued expansion of this brand and the journey that their staff are on. This is a business I would hold up against any other in this market, and that s based on feedback from people I have placed there and known for decades. About the Opportunity: With new projects being secured, this business is looking to recruit a number of experienced Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Project Directors for the schemes they have starting immediately and later in the year. Whether you are working on a £10m package or a £50m+ package the expectation remains the same; as the lead on your project you will be expected to oversee everything from programme, to budget. Client relationships should be developed and it will be your responsibility to organise, plan and execute the works involved in multi-million-pound groundwork and RC frame packages. About the Requirements: Suitable candidates need to be degree qualified in civil engineering or construction management and must be able to show a strong history from a site engineer level through to project management over the last 5-10+ years. It is crucial that candidates can show a strong amount of concrete frame construction background having worked for rival concrete frame and groundwork subcontractors in the UK. Candidates from solely a main contract or development background cannot be considered. Regarding software, our client uses the usual Microsoft programmes, standard email functions and Asta Power Project for planning/programming works. Project Managers will be required to use all these tools. I need Project Managers who have stable backgrounds, have delivered medium to large RC frames and are looking to work for the best of the best. About the Rewards: This business offers above average packages to ensure their staff are happy with their income and beyond this, to ensure they see this as a long term move when joining the company. Stability of employment and maintaining a low staff turnover is important in line with everything this business stands for. For this position we have been given a rough bracket of £90,000 to £120,000 per annum as the salary, which will also include benefits and a structured bonus scheme on top. And we can consider individuals looking to be employed on a self-employed basis (including limited companies), as well as PAYE. All offers are subject to experience. How to Apply: I am more than happy to discuss this opportunity with people over the phone or face to face in a fully confidential manner. This is an incestuous sector and I fully understand the importance of keeping things discrete. Alternatively, it would be ideal to see a copy of your CV to understand your previous experience and employment. In line with GDPR, nothing will be done with your CV / details until we have discussed the role in detail anyway, but having gained an understanding of your formal past, this may help when we come to talk and discuss the option. Either way, my contact details are listed below: Email (remove all spaces): ltd . com Tel: (phone number removed) About Me, Your Consultant: My name is Andrew Jackson and I am one of the founding directors of Cityscape Recruitment Ltd. I have over 20 years of experience in civil engineering & construction recruitment, during which time I have specialised in the niche sectors of concrete frames, groundworks, basement construction, and demolition. So, what does that mean for you? It means you won t be trusting your career to someone who doesn t understand the market. My job is to get you the options you want, give you the information you need, and then to let you decide what feels right. INDSEVEN 29/06/2026

Project Manager / Senior Project Manager x 2 Sites in: Kings Cross / Battersea / St John s Wood Large RC frame & groundwork packages £400 to £500 per day / £90,000 to £110,000 per annum + benefits About the Opportunity: I am looking for experienced Project Managers who are capable of overseeing £20 million (+) RC frame, basement and groundwork packages in London. The initial schemes are in Kings Cross, Battersea, and St John s Wood. Individuals will need to have a strong understanding of everything from piling, groundworks, basement construction and concrete frame construction, while working on a mixture of residential and commercial projects in the past, directly for the sub-contractor overseeing these packages in London. Usual duties will apply from overall management of the site team, technical management of the programme and works, through to management of the client and surrounding aspects (i.e. health & safety, temporary works, engineering solutions and site meetings). About the Company: As one of the best of the best within the specialist concrete frame sector, this organisation's projects speak for themselves. They have completed numerous prestigious schemes throughout London and the home counties, with several large projects also completed around the country. Their focus on quality, safety and offering a professional service has seen them partner with some of the largest main contractors and developers for long term periods of time, completing multiple projects with individual businesses. In addition to this, they are now finding clients choosing to partner with them as principal contractor as they inspire the trust to complete works without supervision from main contractors. In line with what you would expect from a company of this stature, their staff retention rate is excellent, with numerous people choosing not only to spend several years with this business, but also choosing to stay for longer. They complete great projects. They have fantastic standards. And they keep their people happy long term. What more could you look for in an employer? About the Requirements: Suitable candidates need to be degree qualified in civil engineering or construction management and must be able to show a strong history from a site engineer level through to project management over the last 5-10+ years. It is crucial that candidates can show a strong amount of large concrete frame construction background having worked for rival concrete frame and groundwork subcontractors in the UK. Candidates from a main contract or developer background cannot be considered. Regarding software, our client uses the usual Microsoft programmes, standard email functions and Asta Power Project for planning/programming works. Project Managers will be required to use all these tools. About the Rewards: This business offers above average packages to ensure their staff are happy with their income and beyond this, to ensure they see this as a long term move when joining the company. Stability of employment and maintaining a low staff turnover is important in line with everything this business stands for. For these positions, we have been given a rough bracket of £90,000 to £110,000 per annum or for those who are self-employed, £400 to £500 per day. How to Apply: It would be ideal to see a copy of your CV to understand your previous experience and employment. I work with the vast majority of the groundwork & concrete frame businesses in the UK and I can help not only introduce you but can give you up-to-date information on each of them (the good parts and the less positive parts none of them are perfect, but some are pretty close), helping you make an informed decision so you can take your career forward. Senior Project Manager - Structures + Groundwork
