AA Euro Executive has been retained to recruit a Senior Cad technician to join a small dynamic design team that is located in Dublin Office. The Technical Office provides technical support to preconstruction and live projects across Ireland, UK and our European operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.
* Carry out material take offs and prepare material lists.
* Management and organisation of all CAD related information.
* Compiles relevant information in order to assess the suitability of design.
* Quickly recognises implications of imposed changes and, where necessary, notifies their line manager of potential impact.
* Work with the team to consider alternative design options.
* Assist the team to implement the file naming protocols in the creation and archiving of drawings, reports, schedules, etc.
* Ensure the design recognises all aspects of health & safety, environmental and quality related matters.
* Ensures the correct application and secure use of appropriate technology within the design team.
* Makes effective use of document control to manage information.
* Support in the implementation of systems and processes for data management
Experience & Skills:
* Ability to prioritise work, multitask and troubleshoot.
* Diligent and an analytical thinker.
* Be able to work in multifaceted working environments on a range of project types.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience
* Proven high level of experience in the use of AutoCAD

* Advanced user of AutoCAD
* Experience of Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and ReCap preferred but not essential
* Understanding of Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and ReCap
