Under the supervision of a Senior Technician your role shall be to produce drawings of equipment installation including Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Data Room Cooling, Fire Suppresion and Refrigeration using AutoCAD.
Further development of your skills shall be available with the introduction of Revit MEP.
Candidate requirements:
• Ideally possess qualifications in a technical / engineering discipline
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD with Revit MEP being advantageous
• At least 6 / 12 months experience of producing M & E Building Services drawings with either a consultancy or contractor.
• Knowledge of mechanical services equipment and installations
• Good all round IT skills
• Willingness to learn and progress their career

Our client a national residential developer is currently looking for a Senior Architectural Technician for their office in Dartford. This position offers a fast track progression into a Technical Co-ordinator role.
Produce accurate working drawing packages in AutoCad format & to co-ordinate the provision of all supporting ancillary drawings to meet the company's requirements within the programmed timescales.
Main Responsibilities
Produce variant & new house type drawing packages and liaise with key suppliers to provide ancillary drawing information.
Produce block plans, sections and elevations including detail information where not already available.
Co-ordinate the accuracy of information supplied by all departments to ensure no discrepancies.
Submission of all information to NHBC and obtaining approval of same, obtaining SAP Assessments together with EPC's.
Ensure compliance with HQl's, Lifetime Homes and Code for Sustainable Homes requirements together with Secured by Design & apply for Robust Details.
Obtaining and collating all ancillary specialist drawings including heating & plumbing, kitchen, stair, wardrobes, p.c. ground floors, joist layouts and precast upper floors.
Co-ordinate information and liaise with in house architects, civil and structural engineers and landscape architects.
Prepare all drawings and documents for printing for Pre-Start Meetings.
Maintain the archiving of all drawings and files.
Communication
Communicate effectively with all departments in writing,verbally and in presentation format.
Attend departmental meetings as required.
Health and Safety
Ensure you have read the Company's health and safety policies and procedures observe them at all times.
Reporting any accidents or near misses immediately to your Manager and record them in the accident book.
Ensure your workplace is kept tidy and any hazards are eliminated or reported to your line manager.
Wear appropriate protective clothing on site at all times.
Attends all health and safety training as required by the Company
