The role
You’ll be a mobile engineer covering contracts mainly along the M4 corridor. You will be responsible for installation of AC Units, including Splits, VRVs, VRFs. You will also get involved with some service and maintenance contracts, depending on workload. You’ll work alongside a small but growing team. The work is a mixture between high end residential sites, commercial and some domestic contracts.
What’s required?
Proven experience in both installation in a variety of AC Units
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration as well as a valid F-Gas Certificate
A basic knowledge of electrics would be helpful
Full, ideally clean driving license
A great attitude to work is required as client relationships are the backbone of this business

Air Conditioning Service Engineer - Mobile £30K
As an established HVAC company, we provide design, installation and maintenance services for high-efficiency air conditioning, water chillers, pumps, heating systems, and data centre solutions. We have over 30 years' experience in the industry and are proud to have delivered multi-discipline solutions to a large number of blue-chip clients, including Network Rail, South West Trains, BAE and many other national organisations.
We're passionate about employing qualified, well-trained staff. Our external and in-house training programme ensures that our engineers and apprentices remain fully-informed of changes in products, regulations and building designs.
We provide a full maintenance service and installation service from our London Head offices and service our regional contracts through regional offices based in Oxfordshire, Birmingham, and Havant.
We now require an air conditioning service engineer with a MINIMUM of city and guilds NVQ level 2/part 2, plus F-GAS. Other competencies like PASMA & IPAF are an advantage.
The area to cover is the M3 corridor, Twickenham to Havant.
A large amount of our work is on railway contracts. Training and competencies will be given for the railway working as this is essential. The sites include signal centres, data centres, maintenance depots, train care depots, stations, remote relay rooms trackside.
The work includes air conditioning, vent and mechanical. Splits, VRVs, chillers, AHU's LTHW and chilled. Mostly routine PPM but also reactive repairs and planned works. Our service engineers are not required to carry out installation.
We supply a Renault traffic van or equivalent with fuel card. Personal use to be kept to a minimum.
We supply a Samsung galaxy note smart phone for calls and for our electronic job system.
Salary is dependent on the candidate and their experience, paying anything around 28k - 30k
20 days holiday, plus statutory
Working hours are door to door minus 1.5 hours. (half an hour unpaid each way travel, and half an hour unpaid lunch) minimum day door to door is 9.5 hours.
Overtime is paid at time and a half, or double time for nights/bank holidays. Overtime is available, but limited nights are worked.
On call rota is 1 week every 10 weeks. This is paid at £125 for the week regardless of any call outs. Minimum call out is x4 hours.
All specialist refrigeration tools are supplied, but hand tools are the responsibility of the candidate.
Drugs and alcohol testing plus railway medical would be required before any official job offer given
