On-Site London are currently recruiting for a Commercial Heating Engineer for one of our reputable clients for their contracts in Hertfordshire. To carry out servicing and remedial repairs to commercial heating boilers within occupied and void buildings to meet the requirement and expectations of the client in a timely fashion and in compliance with current gas legislation. MOBILE MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (Wembley) My client has been in the HVAC industry for over 40 years now. They specialise in commercial chillers, boilers and air conditioning. In the last 10 years, they have also moved with the industry into FM services. Overview Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer on behalf of a specialist utility services company who carry out the installation, maintenance, and servicing of heat networks and district heating schemes throughout the Uk. Covering the Central London area (inside M25) the Field Service Engineer will carry out the installation, maintenance and servicing of HIU’s, Smart Metering systems and any associated pipework. The work will cover both new installations and the maintenance and servicing of existing systems and there is therefore a requirement to enter occupied homes. This is multi-skilled position and engineers will be required to carry out both Mechanical and Electrical installation, maintenance and servicing on a daily basis. Role Description * Installation, Service and Maintenance of HIUs and associated pipework on new build residential sites. * Retrofitting of HIUs at residential sites. * Carry out Mechanical and Electrical service and maintenance on heat network equipment as required. * Problem solving and fault-finding issues on site and liaising with other trades and the main contractor. * Liaise with & report to site staff (clients, principle contractors, consultants & heating/plumbing sub-contractors) representing the company whilst at development sites. * Carry out the replacement, maintenance and servicing of Heatworks, HIU and heat meters aswell as retrofitting Pay-As-You-Go metering systems. * Installing and replacing heat meters on district heating networks. * Provide reactive maintenance including equipment installed in people’s homes or commissioned within a scheme but not yet handed over to clients/residents. * Carry out post-installation upgrade/maintenance programmes * Interact with clients & customers on site at developments. * Maintain personal equipment & stock of spares/consumables to a level ensuring continuity of service. Static M&E Engineer / Mechanical and Electrical Engineer / Building Services Engineer required for our client, they are a well-known M&E / Building Services Contractor who have been in business for over 40 years. They are looking for a static engineer to be based in the North London area to look after an energy centre site that provides a large district heating scheme solution for the surrounding area. The role will be Monday to Friday, 8-5 with call out 1 in 3. It is expected that the M&E Engineer / MEP Engineer / Shift Technician will have proven knowledge of heating and cooling systems as well as confidence completing tasks that relate to planned and reactive service, maintenance and repair of a range of mechanical and electrical systems such as; boilers, chillers, pumps, valve, pipework, cooling towers, leak checks, HIU's, BMS monitoring and simple electrical checks etc It would be seen as advantageous for the M&E Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to hold NVQ Level 2/3, L8 / Legionella, Commercial Gas Tickets or 17th / 18th edition.
