They specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and domestic hot water services.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will work on a wide portfolio of buildings which includes care homes, MOD, universities, schools and commercial amongst others. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be providing various services including servicing gas appliances, specialising in tracing and repairing faults on gas appliances and central heating systems, completing gas certification, pipework repairs and gas and electrical safety checks, so it is key you have the relevant mechanical qualifications and be multi skilled to provide the best service to the customers.
Working on a mobile basis the Commercial Gas Engineer will be required to carry out the following duties:
· Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on various boilers and heating systems
· Troubleshooting and problem solving.
· Working alongside and supporting other Commercial Gas Engineers
· Carrying out minor remedial works.
The successful Commercial Gas Engineer will have the following qualifications and experience:
· Relevant Commercial and Domestic Gas tickets
· Previous experience of a similar role working for a maintenance contractor.
· Ability to work unsupervised and independently.
· Full Driving Licence is essential.
Salary and Benefits for the Commercial Gas Engineer will depend on experience, but typically includes:

To cover all maintenance of electrical distribution, controls, lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
To complete PPM's in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering on each facility
To undertake minor installation works such as lighting and small power installations
To carryout fault finding on systems up to 415v
To undertake works on the BMS, power supply, lighting, power generation, HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc
To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines
To complete AC works, AHU maintenance and Fan coil units
Skills & Background Required :
Full UK driving licence
Recognised professional qualification e.g. City & Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Part 1 & 2
17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
PPM and reactive maintenance experience
Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
Must be presentable and reliable
Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines
Possession of an F-Gas (2079) or other mechanical certification would be advantageous
